10 yaşındayken annesinin kadavradan karaciğer nakli olduğu günlerde hastanenin koridorlarında koşturan Gülşen, 20 yaşına geldiğinde annesine karaciğerini bağışlayarak ona en güzel anneler günü hediyesini verdi. İkinci kez karaciğer nakli için bıçak altına yatan anne Gülden Acar, "Kızım bana sağlığımı hediye etti. Bundan güzel anneler günü hediyesi olmaz" diye konuştu.
